Privacy notice

This notice explains what Street Food Steve does with the details you give us when you use the booking form on this website, email us or call us. Street Food Steve (Burger Bus, CHIPS!, Buckland Burgers and Poutine Brothers) is responsible for your information.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us — phone number, event date, number of guests, venue or postcode, which brand you're interested in, and your message.

Why we use it

We only use your details to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and, if you book, to organise and deliver your event. We send you one automatic email confirming what you sent us. We don't send marketing emails, and we never sell or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

Our lawful basis is that you've asked us for a quote or a booking (taking steps at your request before entering a contract), and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of trusted services to run the website and our email: Cloudflare (website hosting and sending the booking emails) and Google (our email inbox). They process your details on our behalf and only to provide those services.

How long we keep it

If you don't book, we keep your enquiry for up to two years in case you come back to us, then delete it. If you do book, we keep the details we need for our business records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email booking@streetfoodsteve.co.uk or call 07572 416745.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The booking form may use Cloudflare's spam check, which is only used to tell people and bots apart.
