How much does food truck hire cost?
What affects the price of hiring Burger Bus, CHIPS!, Buckland Burgers or Poutine Brothers, and how to get an exact quote.
There's no one-size price for hiring a burger van or food truck, because no two events are the same. A 60-person garden party in Frome and a 500-person staff day in Swindon need very different setups. Instead of a price list, Steve gives you a fixed quote once he knows the basics.
Here's what makes the difference, so you know what to expect before you ask.
Number of guests. This is the biggest factor. More people means more food, more crew and sometimes a second brand to keep the queue down.
How long we're serving. A two-hour evening slot costs less than serving all day at a festival or sports event.
Which brand, or brands. A stall (CHIPS! or Buckland Burgers) and a bus (Burger Bus or Poutine Brothers) are set up differently. Booking two side by side gives guests a choice and halves the queue.
The date. Summer Saturdays and the run-up to Christmas are the busiest times of year. Weekdays and quieter months are more flexible.
Where the event is. Events around Bristol, Bath, Frome and Somerset are home ground. Further afield, like Exeter, Cheltenham or Swindon, travel is part of the quote.
Who pays. Whether you're covering your guests' food or they're paying at the hatch changes how the booking is priced, so tell Steve which you'd like.
