Food Van Hire

Four brands, four setups: a bus, a second bus, a neon-lit stall and a stall that fits almost anywhere.

Food Van Hire

People searching for food van hire usually want one thing: hot food served on site without having to organise a caterer's kitchen. Street Food Steve runs four brands, so the setup can match your venue rather than the other way round.

Burger Bus and Poutine Brothers are full vehicles. CHIPS! and Buckland Burgers are stalls that set up on smaller pitches, in gardens and courtyards, and in places a van can't reach.

For this kind of booking we'd usually put forward Burger Bus, CHIPS!, Buckland Burgers and Poutine Brothers — each one below has its own menu, and you can book one or more than one.

Burger Bus logo

Burger Bus

A converted yellow school bus serving proper burgers off the griddle. It parks up, drops the hatch and feeds a queue fast — the one to book when you want the vehicle itself to be part of the day.

CHIPS! logo

CHIPS!

Chips done properly, from a stall with a neon sign you can spot across a field. Simple, quick, and it suits every crowd from a village fete to a late-night festival stage.

Buckland Burgers logo

Buckland Burgers

Build-your-own burgers from a stall that sets up almost anywhere. Guests pick their own toppings off the board, which keeps things moving and keeps fussy eaters happy.

Poutine Brothers logo

Poutine Brothers

Fries, cheese curds and gravy, served out of a bus that looks the part after dark. The one people photograph, and the one that works hardest at an evening event.

Van, bus or stall: which one fits?

If there's a car park, a field or a hard-standing area, a bus is the easy choice and looks great on the day. If access is tight, like a back garden, a courtyard or a spot behind a gate, a stall is the answer. It keeps the same food and the same speed at the hatch.

For numbers, CHIPS! is built for volume, turning out up to 200 portions an hour with a full crew. For a smaller, more relaxed event, Buckland Burgers' build-your-own board suits a crowd that likes to choose.

Questions we get asked

What's the difference between your vans and stalls?

The buses are self-contained vehicles. The stalls set up on the ground and fit smaller or awkward spaces. The quality of the food is the same either way.

How far do you travel?

Across Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and into Devon. If you're further out, ask anyway.

Can I mix brands?

Yes. Two brands side by side give guests a choice and halve the queue.

Also covering

We travel across Somerset and the wider South West. If your event isn't listed, ask anyway — it's usually a yes.
